On Thursday, December 16, 2021, we had our Holiday Membership Luncheon at Orlando’s Event and Conference Center. As people arrived, we were thankful to enjoy some wine tasting sponsored by Kimberly Neff from Scout & Cellar. It was fun to see everyone dressed in their festive sweaters, suites, dresses, and more.

We began our meeting by saying the National Anthem together. We then recognized and thanked our 2021 Board of Directors and volunteers for their service to the Chamber this year. We also thanked our Ambassadors for their efforts in keeping our new members informed and engaged with the Chamber community and activities.

Next we presented plaques to the following new members:

• Camie Dewey w/ St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church
• Danielle Finley w/ St. Louis REALTORS
• Jordyn Grandolfo w/ New York Life
• Kimberly Neff w/ Scout and Cellar

After enjoying some great food and networking, Tom Lancia made some Chamber announcements. Tom shared that we will have our first Rock’ N Roll Bingo on Friday, January 21, 2022, and invited members to be a Round Sponsor. We sold all 12 Rounds on the spot.

Next Anna Marie Wehr with Enterprise Bank and Trust and our 2021 Chamber Board President invited Allen Burnett with Jefferson Bank & Trust to join her at the podium. Anna Marie introduced Allen as our 2022 Chamber Board President and presented him the President’s Gavel. As Allen’s first duty as President he gave Anna Marie a clock in appreciation for her year of leadership as President. The clock reads, “In recognition of your outstanding leadership, Dedication to serving the members of the Chamber of Commerce & Commitment to promoting a strong and vibrant business community.

Next Mike Minkler with CMIT Solutions installed our 2022 Board of Directors. We also shared that we have two open seats on the Board of Directors for 2022.

After the installation we all enjoyed our Holiday Gift Exchange Game. It didn’t go exactly as planned but it was a lot of fun for all involved. Then we invited our finalists in the “Most Festively Dressed” contest to come to the front of the room. Through a round of applause we announced Jason Gunter as the winner! Next we announce Lou Darden as our winner of the 50/50 Raffle.
