On Thursday, November 16, 2023 we had our Membership Luncheon at the Holiday Inn in Creve Coeur. We began our meeting by saying the Pledge of Allegiance in gratitude for our freedom and welcomed our city officials and guests. We also we recognized Sarah Dodson with Servpro (of West Kirkwood/Sunset Hills/Fenton/South Ballwin/Overland/Cool Valley) as a new Board Member. She replaced an open board seat that has been open since the first of the year. Next we introduced our Ambassadors and presented plaques to our new members (pictured above):

After enjoying lunch and networking at our tables, we gave some Chamber announcements and introduced our presenter, Charlie Brennan. Charlie is the "Provocateur" of KETC-TV's "Donnybrook," among the highest rated locally produced talk shows on PBS. He retired on May 12, 2022 after almost 34 years hosting "The Charlie Brennan Show" on KMOX.  He was also inducted into the St. Louis Radio Hall of Fame in 2009 and has written four books.

During Charlie Brennan's presentation he shared a number of funny, inspiring, and interesting stories of St. Louis and our local cities of Creve Coeur and Olivette. Following the luncheon many stuck around to purchase his book "Only in St. Louis! The Most Incredible, Strange and Inspiring Tales" for a discounted price.

At the close of the presentation we gave out a prize donated by Sarah Dodson with Servpro and drew our 50/50 winner!
