Tom Lancia, Executive Director of the CCO Chamber, present the Chamber Volunteer Award. This year's winner is Yvonne Wesa with RE/MAX Results Real Estate and Compass Health & Life Insurance. This award is well deserved. Please hear what Tom had to said in presenting the award:

“Each year the Chamber’s Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to an individual for their involvement in and dedication to the Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber of Commerce. This award is presented to a person that always attends our events, is there to lend a hand, is an advocate for the Chamber, and someone willing to help open any door for the good of the organization. 

This year’s honoree is one of the Chamber’s biggest cheerleaders and players in helping us be successful in our mission to be a strong advocate for businesses. As we know a business is only as strong as it’s members and this year’s honoree is a great example of not only an active member but one who does what she can to help others. She has been a great help to me and many in our business community. She attends every event she can and is always actively looking for ways to help herself and others grow and be more successful. 

Yvonne Wesa with RE/MAX Results Real Estate joined the Chamber in December of 2011 and in August 2019 she added her second business with Compass Health & Life Insurance. Yvonne joined the Board of Directors in 2017 and started IJN 1 (It's Just Networking) August 2017. Due to increased interest, she helped start IJN 2 in July 2019 and we are currently looking to start IJN 3 in the future. She has referred at least 14 businesses, who have joined the chamber and has referred many Chamber member’s businesses. Yvonne has sponsored, solicited sponsors, attended, volunteered, or served on committees for the following events: Awards Dinner and Auction, Trivia Night, Corporate Golf Tournament, Golf Scramble, Health & Wellness Expo, Senior Expo, and Mouse Races. She also served on the search committee for the open Executive Director position in 2019, which I greatly appreciate the outcome. Yvonne loves the Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber and we love her.
