June Membership Luncheon
June Membership Luncheon: "State of the Cities" and Volunteer Award

On Thursday, June 16, 2022 we had our Membership Luncheon held at Orlando's Event and Conference Center. Thank you to Dan Flynn with the Neptune Society for being our luncheon sponsor. We began our meeting saying the Pledge of Allegiance and welcoming our City Officials and Guests. Next we presented plaques to the following new members (pictured above from left to right):
- Scott Carlson with ManagedMowed
- Matthew Creath with Parkway Baptist Church
- Sharon Rosen with Homestead Financial Mortgage
- Rod Patershuk with Berkshire Hathaway HS Alliance
After enjoying some great lunch we surprised and presented the Chamber Volunteer Award to Kimberly Ellis. This award is given every year to an individual for their involvement in and dedication to the Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber of Commerce. Kimberly is the co-owner of John David Jewelers and she joined the Chamber is 2019. She began serving on the Board of Directors in January of 2021 and is an active member of our Event's Committee and our "It's Just Networking 1" group. Kimberly is a great promoter of the Chamber is a great support to our members and the community.
Next we began our program on the "State of Cities." First we welcomed Mayor Dr. Robert Hoffman from the City of Creve Coeur and to conclude our program we welcomed Councilman Rick Knox from the City of Olivette. Both presentations shared great information on our cities and why Creve Coeur and Olivette are great places to live and work. We also heard about city projects, new developments, and more. It is encouraging to see us continuing to move forward in advancements and in building a strong and diverse community. Please click below to see the slides from the city presentations:
Finally we ended our luncheon by handing out an attendance prize provided by Yvonne Wesa with Compass Health Insurance and Living Water.
