Next we took a moment to recognize and thank Barb Gerstenkorn for her past 20 years of service to the Creve Coeur-Olivette Chamber of Commerce. Barb is planning to "retire" this summer to help raise her new grandson and we want to wish her all the best and want her to know how much we appreciate and will miss her. Barb serves as our Finance Director.

Finally we heard a great and encouraging presentation from Margaret Onken, Chief Advancement Officer of Greater St. Louis Inc.(GLS). She shared with us GLS's ambitious plan to create jobs and expand inclusive economic growth. GLS combines the strengths of five legacy organizations to unify around a common vision and strategy for fostering inclusive economic growth. AllianceSTL, Arch to Park, Civic Progress, Downtown STL, Inc., and the St. Louis Regional Chamber came together on January 1, 2021, as Greater St. Louis, Inc. Leaders of the new organization will work collaboratively to address the metropolitan area’s challenges and opportunities for broad-based prosperity.
