February 2022 Membership Luncheon
Members braved the weather and heard exciting updates about the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center.

On Thursday, February 17, 2022, we had our Membership Luncheon at the Holiday Inn St. Louis - Creve Coeur. Even though we had sleet and snow, we still had a great turn out for our first luncheon at the Holiday Inn, which did a great job. We started our meeting saying the National Anthem together, followed by welcoming our members and guests.
Next we presented plaques to the following new members:
- Chris Vandehey with Connect Video
- Ragan Andrew with Making Memories Tours
- Dan Flynn with Neptune Society
- Jason Jordan with Applied Technologies
- Tom Sears with Infection Control University
After taking a break to enjoy a tasty lunch and networking at our tables we heard some Chamber updates from Tom Lancia. Next Allen Burnett introduced our speaker, Michael Mason, Development Officer at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. Mike was captivated and drawn to the Danforth Plant Science Center because he believes in the power of plants, as well as his admiration for the Danforth family and their work to promote values and ingenuity. Mike's work at the Center is to ensure capital and opportunities that flow so the efforts of the scientists may be propelled. Following the presentation we announced our 50/50 winner and gave out two attendance prizes donated by Yvonne Wesa with Compass Health Insurance and Lou Darden with Kreismann Bayer Insurance Agency.
