Spring is a great time for Ribbon Cuttings!
On Wednesday, April 10th, we celebrated Oats & Honey Cafe's Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting in Creve Coeur. They had a great turn out that morning with Mayor Robert Hoffman, Chamber Members, New Customers, and Oats & Honey Cafe Family and Staff! The morning began with a Blessing of the Restaurant and Staff, followed by the Ribbon Cutting. Everyone present enjoyed gourmet food and drink!
Oats & Honey Cafe is the newest venture from Ericka L. Vega, Jorge Maya and Jerry Flores, who also own and manage Las Fuentes Restaurants. Their passion for all things breakfast has inspired their gourmet menu that reflects their commitment to serving fresh, natural, and organic ingredients. You can explore their delightful array of breakfast, brunch, and lunch options crafted with care and creativity, all designed to tantalize your taste buds and nourish your body.

On Saturday, April 27th, Master Kim's Martial Arts celebrated their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting. Master Kim started at 8 AM and provided live demonstrations, food, drinks, kids activities, tours, new member discounts, and summer camp discounts! They concluded the celebration with the Ribbon Cutting at 11:30 AM, followed by lunch. The Martial Arts studio was busy all throughout the morning.
Master Kim's Martial Arts offers programs for all ages and levels. They offer Beginner Ninja Toddlers, Kids Martial Arts, Teen & Adult Martial Arts, an After School Program, Summer Camp, Birthday Parties, and Ninja Warrior. They invite you to empower your life with Martial Arts Training. They also have a second location in Kirkwood.

On Tuesday, April 30th, we celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of the Special School District's New Central Bus Garage! Superintendent Dr. Michael Maclin welcomed everyone and led the ceremony, accompanied by Board President Katie Pottroff and Vice-President Dr. Daniel Cuneo. Director of Transportation Kenny Mulder added to the excitement with his custom school bus shoes and transportation-themed sports coat. There was a great crowd of support including, Mayor Evelyn Carter of the City of Kinloch, Chamber Members, Community Partners, and the friends and staff of the Special School District.
The Special School District's new state-of-the-art Central Bus Garage symbolizes the District's commitment to excellence and innovation in supporting their student's transportation needs.
