On Thursday, April 21, 2022 we had are Membership Luncheon held at Spazio Westport and Sponsored by Lou Darden with Kreismann-Bayer Insurance Agency. We then began our meeting by saying the Pledge of Allegiance together and welcoming our City Officials and Guests.

Next we presented plaques to the following new members:

• Jeremy Colton with Big Frog of Custom T-Shirts and More
• Greg Cook with Paul Davis Restoration of Metro West St. Louis
• Judie Meyer with Advertising Premium Sales
• Laura Compton with Sugarfire Smokehouse in Olivette

As we began our lunch, we heard an update from Freddie Steinbach, former and first Mayor of Chesterfield, about HJB 79/ Initiative Petitions in MO. Freddie works with Show Me Integrity, which is a cross-partisan reform organization.

After breaking to network and finish our lunch, Tom Lancia gave some Chamber announcements and Allen Burnett introduced our speaker, Marc Schreiber. Marc is the V.P. of Marketing & Development with the St. Louis Sports Commission. During Marc's presentation he shared the many ways the St. Louis Sports Commission is working to make St. Louis a better place to live, visit, work, and play through sports. They continue to be active in bringing large events and tournaments to this region. One event that is unique and special to the St. Louis Sports Commission is the Musial Awards. This is truly the most inspiring night in sports and is named after the baseball hall of famer Stan Musial. Find out more information here: The Musial Awards

We closed our meeting giving out an attendance prize donated by Yvonne Wesa w/ Compass Health Insurance and Living Water.
